Father Thames by Robin and June

Location: N 51° 22.927 W 000° 27.539 Difficulty: 2 Terrain: 1

You will need your GPS, this printout and a pencil or pen to solve this one. The location above is a virtual cache. You will read what you see there to obtain the location of a microcache, with its own small log book and "goodies". The microcache has the location of the larger main cache, holding camera, log book and bigger "goodies" :-) Here is what you need to know: At the virtual cache, the thing that opened in 1650 was the "pqr stuvwxyzON". Also, Nauticalia is on "abcde fghijk". m=g+1. n=i-1. The location of the microcache is N 51° ef.cm W 000° fn.nk and is "87 9ORsqR, Os 1R894S, Us32R vur". The above is all you should need to find both caches.

These three locations will take you to places worth spending some time at - why rush ? Part of your challenge is to locate and return the caches without others knowing what you are doing :-) On a more serious note: if you have children with you, keep them on a tight reign - there is deep and fast flowing water here. Also take care if you decide to cross the road for a drink: easiest to walk under the bridge and cross the minor road.

You will find more Lovelock caches on www.gpss.co.uk/geocache If you wish to contact Robin and want a reply, please email him direct on gpss@compuserve.com If you do this through a geocaching web site, please make sure you include your email address. Robin regrets that he may not reply to those who seek to hide who they are. Please include at least your name and email address.
